Who am I ?
Hi!
My name is Barbara and I am a photographer with roots in both Croatia and the Netherlands. These two places have shaped how I see the world and helped me grow creatively. Photography has always been something I loved, even before I ever held a camera, but it wasn’t until the quiet days during COVID that I really started to take it seriously and dive into it.
One special part of my journey has been my dog Ekko. He’s been with me through every photo and every adventure, He has taught me so much, not just about dogs, but about truly seeing and capturing a moment. His happiness, calm nature, and loyalty have helped me look at the world in a new way.
Thanks to Ekko, I’ve found a strong connection to dog photography. He’s more than just a pet, he’s my muse and the reason I see photography as a way to tell real, heartfelt stories.
Every photo I take is a step forward in this creative journey I’m so grateful to be on.
Welcome to my world where life, love and art all come together through my camera.
I’ve always loved an active lifestyle and training with my dog is something that brings me real joy. That’s why I chose an Australian Shepherd to be my companion, they are full of energy, incredibly smart, and always up for an adventure.
Over time, I’ve gained a lot of patience and knowledge about dog behavior, which helps me connect with every animal I work with. Ekko and I spend a lot of time outdoors, we go hiking through nature, running side by side and paddle board across the water. We also love doing mantrailing together, and we’re excited to start Rally-O soon.
These shared experiences not only strengthen our bond but also shape my photography with empathy and an appreciation for every dog’s unique spirit.
